RED PLUS pads combine DuPont Carbon-Kevlar (Organic) and a higher percentage of iron. Specifically designed to provide the highest level of stopping power on a Ceramic Composite (MMC) Rotor. For stainless steel rotors please refer to our Z Plus and Gold Plus compounds as they provide a longer and cleaner service life. When used with Ceramic Composite Rotors, Red Plus pads are dust free, noise free, and cause no me asurable rotor wear. Service life averages 12,000 miles.
